Excellent course and hospitality for our golf society. The course was in top condition and will be looking to book again next year. It is hilly in parts and I would recommend getting a buggy for any senior golfers who feel the need of one.
Very scenic course, nice to play. Pleasent staff and brew with a view at the end.
Very hilly, I hired a buggy at a very reasonable price together with the golf, good value for money.
The course is hilly and most tee shots are blind played to marker posts. Some tees are a bit away from last green. Greens are good condition but a little bobbly around the edges for fringe putts.
If windy I could imagine this course being very difficult, we played after a night of rain and it seems to drain well
Lovely cuisine, well presented and delicious.
Staff were a joy, so pleasant and helpful.
Lovely outdoor seating area just right for this sunny weather.
Great service. Delicious food. Excellent.
One of the.most challenging courses you could play both physically and mentally! The course yardage is short by modern standards, but the wind and the elevation changes make up for it. Amazing views across the counties when you get to the top of the course. Amazing greens which are quick and undulating. Give your game a test, and go play here. The pro, Steve, gives a warm welcome and now they have a new restaurant added to the front of the old clubhouse. A big plus for the course.
Most beautiful golf course in the area. However most likely one of the most difficult (can't say for sure as I have not played them all). Would definitely recommend! It is very exposed so would recommend thicker clothes if playing during winter/autumn months
As a blue badge holder and someone who cannot walk far without assistance, I find it confusing that there are private parking spaces for members of the club but no accessible parking. I came in for lunch at the restaurant today and had to walk half way across the car park on uneven ground because of this. I then asked a staff member about the car park and was told the issue should be raised with the golf club. I had a lovely meal in the restaurant but this issue puts me off coming back.
Excellent in every way, for service and location 👏 …
